How to Join

Veterans, family of Veterans, and Canadians without military affiliation are all welcome to join the Royal Canadian Legion, and support those who serve. With a variety of membership options, the Legion has as much to offer its members as it does the community.

You don't have to be a Veteran to support a Veteran

Legion membership is open to any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older.

The Royal Canadian Legion

• Supports Canada's Veterans by offering free services and financial support, advocates for government action, and performs outreach to Veterans in need;

• Helps Canada remember by hosting Remembrance activities, ensuring all Canadians can wear a Poppy, and educating youth on the importance of Remembrance;

• Supports our communities with close to 260,000 member volunteers worldwide, with 1,350 Branches supporting Veterans, and helping our communities grow.
